Reading is a means of language acquisition, communication, and of sharing information and ideas. It is a complex cognitive process（认知过程） of decoding （解码，破译） symbols in order to construct or derive meaning （寻出含义）. In addition杨广顺 , reading requires creativity and critical analysis. Therefore海瓜子的做法 , reading story books has a range of benefits to the children.
First of all, when children are given opportunities to read, they can develop the skills of acquiring knowledge and obtaining information at an early age. This proves to be crucial（至关重要的） for their future development. Through reading, children can develop meaningful understanding about the plots （故事情节）, and the main characters in the story.Therefore it is helpful to widen their scope of knowledge and form their ownperspective （视角猛男奸狱 ，看法） to the world.
Secondly, reading story books brings fun and joy to the kids. They candiscuss the stories with their parents梦见河水上涨, siblings（兄弟姐妹） or other peers after reading the books.It helps to forge （形成） a stronger bond between them. Thereading process requires continuous practice, development, and refinement（改良，完善）. Besides, young readers may use contextclues （上下文线索） to identify the meaning of unknownwords.
